the worst part of it all

I still defend you

to those

I really should leave the house

go and see that art show

go see if you’re there

go see people

interact

be a human

I was invited

but barely

perfect spring

grey sky’s and snow

and all I see

is her sunshine

and what if we did just let down the veil

and what if we did just fall

unhinged

unburdened

into a brand new poem

and in an instant

ive fallen for you

and im sure all it will take for me to ruin it

will be an instant

but the space between these two instances 

is where ill exist

smitten
