There was once a wave, that dragged me off my raft,

a wave that took me under, that took my breath,

that bruised and cut me upon the ocean floor,

that delivered me exhausted to this island,

where i found you all waiting,

with the fear of the ocean gone,

we can now wade out together,

into this deep blue life,

no longer stranded,

but together upon these perfect white shores.
